Welcome!
Silver Creek Methodists are like-minded, Bible-believing, Christ-centered, Spirit-led, sin-saved Christians on our walk of discipleship together. We take vows to encourage one another in Christian love and hold each other to our common beliefs in Christ and his Church. We are not perfect (we are all sinners saved by God’s grace in Christ) …but we take our vows seriously and graciously as we live holy lives in the Spirit together in Christ. Join us on this incredible journey!
Bill Killough, Senior Pastor
What does it mean
to be a Christian?
A Christian is someone whose speech, behavior, and heart is like Jesus Christ. He or she puts their faith and trust in him, committing their lives to serving Him and serving others. The behavior and mindset of a Christian reflects the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in their hearts. Christ is with them and in them.
What is
the Bible?
The Bible is the description God gave us about who He is and His desires and plans for humanity. The Word of God is as relevant today as it was when it was first written. Not all of Scripture necessarily applies explicitly to us, but they all contain truth that we can apply to our lives today.
